RecSpecs Correspondents — MSU/Air Force

Monday, December 7th, 2009

msu.logoOnce again, family duty called, but I scrounged up another RecSpecs Correspondent piece, this time from Southwest Standard writer Jeff Faust. If you’re unfamiliar with the Standard, it’s the Missouri State school newspaper and Faust is one of its top sports writers.

Jeff chimed in with a few observations from MSU’s 58-48 over Air Force Saturday. It wasn’t a dominant victory by any means, but the Bears are 7-0. (Remember, the Bears were 11-20 last season.)

I’ve included Jeff’s piece below and remember, if you want to become a RecSpecs Correspondent, simply e-mail your take to Allen@RecSpecsOnline.com.

Now, on to Jeff’s witty piece.

RecSpecs Correspondents - MSU edition

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

OK, a big part of the movement here at RecSpecsOnline.com is the community participation. I was at a friend’s wedding Saturday night, so I was unable to attend Missouri State’s huge basketball win over Tulsa. But, loyal reader Jacob G. from Springfield attended the game and gave me his take on the Bears’ 5-0 start.

I’m looking for you to get involved, too. If you go to a game and want to give me your take, go for it. It doesn’t need to be a long story, it can simply be a few sentences. A Tweet, if you will. Think of it as a letter to the editor, without trashing me in the process. Or you can, I don’t really care.

Or, if you just want to start up an e-mail dialogue, go for it. Send all your correspondence to Allen@RecSpecsOnline.com.

Click below for Jacob’s take on MSU’s 83-75 victory over Tulsa Saturday night.

So, welcome to the debut of the RecSpecs correspondents piece. Enjoy. And let’s get heavy right off the bat…
